Episode 8: Inhumans

Welcome to Journey Into Misery, where I explain complicated comics characters, continuity and concepts to the patient and perpetually perplexed Helena Hart.

This week we’re tackling the weirdest family in comic books, Helena discovers her new favourite comic book character and there’s the introduction of the first ever Journey Into Misery drinking game.

You can listen to JOURNEY INTO MISERY a number of ways, including Libsyn, iTunes or Stitcher. Alternatively, you could just click play on that little button below.

  1. Attilan was originally moved from the Himalayas to the blue area of the moon in Fantastic Four 240. It was pointlessly returned to Earth in the terrible Atlantis Rising crossover. Luna was is so named as she was the first Inhuman born on the moon, again in FF 240, where it’s also established that Inhuman and Mutant genes cross each other out making her fully human (thus strictly speaking the terrigen mists really shouldn’t have worked on her).
